Going to the Airport

Today is the day, I am going to America for the first time in twelve years. I woke up at 5 am and getting ready to go, my mom, dad and grandpa were so happy but at the same time, they were really worried because I’m gonna stay in America for 3 weeks, but I’m so excited. We got on the car and drove to the airport.

Arrived at the Airport

We arrived at the airport, we got my tickets and eat breakfast because we didn't have enough time to eat at home. And my mom told me to be careful and remember to call her the moment I arrived at America. 

 Here comes a problem...

I got on the plane and found my seat, I sat down and waiting for take off, but then, it starts to rain heavily, my mom and teacher send me a picture saying that the plane is delay because of the weather, so we waited about thirty minutes and finally the plane took off. 

Arrived at Beijing for connection

I arrived at Beijing, but something even worse happened, because my first flight delayed for thirty minutes, the moment I got out, my second flight already left, so I need to wait for five hours in a room and wait for another flight.

Finally got on the plane!

I finally got on the plane waiting to go to LAX Airport, and I can even watch movies on the plane so it wouldn't be boring, and funny thing, I even became friends with a boy sitting next to me. Maybe it’s not that bad after all.

Falling asleep on the car

I found the school staff at the airport and waiting for other students to come, a few moments later, we got on the car, but I was falling asleep because it was Nine PM, but I keep telling myself, don't fall asleep, don't fall asleep, but I can't help it, so I fell asleep, and the funny thing is that just the moment the car was parked, I wake up.

My room and roomate

My room is at the fourth floor, and I walked inside with a teacher, my roomate was on the bed, and I found out the next day that her name was Yang, and she was from South Korea.

The level test

I walked into a room with other students, found our seats, and sat down. The teacher let us listen to a record, after two times of listening, we answer the questions. Then, the teacher let us do grammer, and reading. After forty-five minutes of writing, we finally finished the test.

The result

We walked around the school a little bit and we went to the office, they handed our test results and I got Level eleven. I'm super exicted and can't wait to start the class tomorrow!

English and Computer Science

The teacher take us to a classroom and we sat down, the English teacher is called Jake Bradley, he was very funny and made the class very intertaining. We learn about Job Apply, it tells us about how you should speak to the employee, and how you should dress for the interview. 

After that, we play a couple of games, and the class is over. After we ate lunch, the teacher lead us to the Computer Science room, we open our computers and starts to watch videos and codings, I use my code to write about Nickelodeon since I love Nicky, Ricky, Dickey, and Dawn. My friend next to me write about Disney Tsum Tsum since she’s a big Disney Fan. After four hours of coding, the class is over and we eat dinner.

Disneyland!

I'm so exicted because we are going to Disneyland! I love the Splash Mountain and Star Wars. We go on the Star Wars Fast Ride, and it was so fast and I scream the loudest, then we go on the It's a Small World Water Ride, I use my phone to record all of it because my mom loved the ride. 

When we go on the Splash Mountain, I was all wet, my hat was wet, my shirt and jeans were wet, and I was screaming I’m wet in the tunnel. When I go shopping, the firework was about to start, so I literally grab a few things and go and see the fireworks. This was the best thing that ever happened in my life!

Universal Studios

I'm ready to see the Minions and The Walking Deads, we are heading to Universal Studios Hollywood! We were inside and we jumped on a Harry Potter Ride which is super fun, there are dragons and smokes and 3D vision.

After that, I go inside The Walking Dead ride, which is basically people with scary make up poped out and scaring you. I even take a picture with Frankenstein after the ride. I bought four bags of Harry Potter and The Simpsons toys and notebooks. The food there was really good, I got a huge sausage with cheese and meat sauce on it.

Hollywood!

I can't believe I’m actually in HOLLYWOOD! I always see the sign on the computer, but now I’m actually here, I took a picture of the sign and I’m so exicted!

I also took a Star picture of Tom Cruise because he is my favorite actor.

I also took the Star of Johnny Cash because my mom loves his "Country Road" song. I bought Oreo ice-cream because it was so hot. I really enjoy this trip.

California Science Center

I really love the Science Center because I get to see the big spaceship made by NASA, I also see the giant fuel tank that they use for the spaceship, I also get to try to fly using the first airplane mode. I also try and see different climates of the lab. I bought the necklece of the giant spaceship and the bracelet of the earth, NASA sign, spaceship, and astronaut. I took a picture of me, my friends, and my teacher together at the center, and by the way, my teacher looks like Hercules from the Disney film.

Learning about Humor

We learn about humor at one point,  teacher said humor is very important because that’s how you can make friends. 

We learn different kinds of way to describe humor, there are sarcasm, which is dark comedy, slapstick, which is physical humor, witty humor, which is a smart joke, and other types of humor. We learn about great people in the humor world, like Charlie Chaplin, and Mr Bean.

Farewell my friends

The time has come, saying goodbye, we have a huge bowling alley and ton of foods, it's my first time trying to do bowling, I let all of my friends and teachers sign on my notebook that I got from Universal Studios, I literally was about to cry, but I know that maybe next year or in the future, I will see them again.
